Iconic heavy metal band Iron Maiden has officially announced their highly anticipated “Run For Your Lives” world tour dates across Australia for later this year. This tour is marked by the band’s 50th-anniversary celebration and will feature Megadeth as special guests. This tour will commemorate Iron Maiden’s monumental career, and also coincides with Megadeth’s final global circuit.

Iron Maiden, known for their epic live performances, have played several sold-out tours in Australia since their first visit in 1982. Their continued relationship with the Australian fan base has only grown stronger with every tour. In November 2026, the band will be performing in outdoor stadiums for the first time in Melbourne at AAMI Park and Sydney at Allianz Stadium and arenas in Adelaide and Brisbane.

The “Run For Your Lives” tour will feature a set list that explores Iron Maiden’s influential early albums, which have defined their legendary status. With tracks such as “Hallowed Be Thy Name”, “Run to the Hills”, and “The Number of the Beast”, the tour is an ode to the band’s pioneering days. The accompanying stage setup is reported to be their most ambitious yet, utilising cutting-edge technology to enhance the classic Iron Maiden concert experience.

Steve Harris, founder and bassist of Iron Maiden, shared, “We are very excited to be bringing this RUN FOR YOUR LIVES TOUR to Australia later this year. And even more so as we are bringing MEGADETH with us. Dave and I have been friends for years and we are very proud to have them as our special guests on their last-ever world tour. I think our fans will really appreciate this and it will make it an even more memorable show for everyone. We very much look forward to getting down there to see you all at the end of 2026!”

The band’s manager, Rod Smallwood, added, “We are delighted to be returning to Australia just two years after our last visit to that part of the world. It’s always a great experience playing to our fans there, and we know they really appreciate seeing us whenever we can visit.”

In line with the tour, the band will also bring back the popular Eddie’s Pop-Up Dive Bar to each venue, enhancing the fan experience with themed entertainment, exclusive merchandise, and their signature Trooper Beer.

General public tickets set to go on sale on March 6th, following a pre-sale for Telstra Plus members on March 4th.

The Australian tour dates kick off on Wednesday, November 11th, at the Adelaide Entertainment Centre and conclude on Wednesday, November 18th, at the Brisbane Entertainment Centre. These performances promise to deliver a historic showcase of heavy metal music that celebrates the enduring legacy of Iron Maiden while commemorating a closing chapter for Megadeth.
