With the New Year comes a sense of momentum – and JISOO captures it effortlessly.

Returning for her sixth campaign with Tommy Hilfiger, this season’s New Year capsule blends classic American prep with festive symbolism, reflecting both the optimism of fresh beginnings and JISOO’s own refined, feminine style.

From elegant tailoring to playful horseshoe details inspired by the Year of the Horse, the collection feels lucky, modern and deeply personal. Speaking to RUSSH about the collaboration, JISOO reflects on creative growth, personal style, and the joy of welcoming a new year with optimism, confidence, and a touch of celebration.

 

1. What did you most enjoy about this New Year’s campaign with Tommy Hilfiger?

I loved the whole mood of the shoot – it felt festive, bright and full of good energy. The collection has this beautiful mix of classic prep and New Year vibrancy, so filming it really felt like welcoming a fresh start. We had such a fun atmosphere on set bringing that spirit to life.

2. How did this campaign feel personal to you?

This is my sixth campaign with Tommy Hilfiger, so I truly feel like part of the family now. We’ve grown together, and my own style evolution feels very connected to the brand. This campaign is playful but still has the sophisticated, feminine touch I lean towards. And every time we release a campaign, I feel so much love from my fans — that makes it even more meaningful. It feels like we’re celebrating together.

 

3. As a Global Tommy Hilfiger Ambassador, what kind of message do you want to convey?

I want to share a positive and confident energy. Tommy has such a bold, vibrant spirit, and I try to express that in my own way – with warmth and optimism. If people feel good or inspired when they see the campaign, that’s the best message I can hope for.

4. Tell us about your favourite pieces from the New Year collection.

I love the ivory quilted jacket with the gold buttons. It feels elegant but still relaxed, and I wore it over a red-and-white striped knitted polo with a pleated black miniskirt and classic loafers – it’s very “modern prep” in a way that feels me. The whole collection blends femininity with a modern sensitivity, which resonates deeply with who I am.

 

5. It’s the Year of the Horse – which part of the capsule speaks to you the most?

The horseshoe details are so cute! I especially love the leather jacket with the motif on the back – it feels lucky and fun, but still very chic. The positive energy and strength that come to mind when thinking of the horse are naturally reflected in Tommy’s New Year collection, and getting to introduce the campaign makes me feel even more excited about 2026.
