The Ichijyoma Mankitsu Gurashi TV anime adaptation has received a teaser visual and the announcement of an April 2026 premiere window.
Toshinori Watabe (Ninja Vs. Gokudo, Fairy Tail 100 Years Quest, Edens Zero Season 2) is directing the anime at PRA. Fumiya Uehara is the character designer.

Ichijyoma Mankitsu Gurashi is based on the 4-koma manga by Hisamakumako. The premise sees countryside girl Meiko, who is attending a high school for ladies, ending up as a live-in employee at a manga cafe.
The manga began serialization in 2018 in Houbunsha’s Manga Time Kirara and has four volumes as of July 2025.
