The upcoming I Became a Legend After My 10 Year-Long Last Stand TV anime has been delayed from April 2026 to July 2026.
It previously received a teaser trailer in January.
The anime (titled Koko wa Ore ni Makasete Saki ni Ike to Itte kara 10-nen ga Tattara Densetsu ni Natteita. in Japanese) is an adaptation of the SB Creative-published light novel series written by Ezogingitune and illustrated by DeeCHA. There is a Square Enix-published manga from Chaco Abeno (art) and Kitsune Tennoji (storyboard composition), which MANGA Up! Global describes as such:
With no other options, Luck makes the choice to hold the line against the unending demonic hordes alone, to make sure his comrades can escape with their lives. However, through a combination of fortune, skill, and ingenuity, he holds that line for ten straight years, eventually coming out on top singlehandedly. Now he has to tackle the dilemma of how to occupy himself in a world where he holds a myriad of roles: that of a legend, that of a veteran, and that of a brand new face.
The I Became a Legend After My 10 Year-Long Last Stand light novel series began in 2019 under the GA Novel label and has seven volumes as of 2022. Prior to the light novels, the story began serialization as a Shosetsuka ni Naro web novel in 2018.
