Their wedding festivities trended on social media, and yesterday the two tied the knot in a star-studded outdoor Nikah ceremony held in Lahore. Hina Afridi wore a white, double-layered Anarkali dress embellished with light golden embroidery, while Taimoor Akbar looked handsome in a matching white sherwani and qulla.
Today, Hina Afridi and Taimoor Akbar shared their emotional Nikah video in which they expressed their feelings. The video featured touching moments from the Nikah and Rukhsati ceremonies. Speaking about her emotions, Hina Afridi said, “Some feelings need no words to explain. He is my solace; he is my happiness.” Taimoor Akbar also shared that Nikah felt very different for him, as he had never experienced such a moment in his life before and had previously only attended others’ weddings. During the ceremony, Hina’s brother Shoaib Khan became emotional while remembering their mother. He shared her wish, saying that it was his mother’s instruction that Hina’s wedding should be perfect.
