2026’s Detective Conan: Highway no Datenshi (Meitantei Conan: Highway no Datenshi) has received a teaser video which previews high-speed action. An “ANGEL” visual was also released.
Highway no Datenshi is using the word “angel” to refer to both Miyuki Sawashiro‘s Chihaya Hagiwara and a high tech white motorcycle that will appear in the film (Hagiwara’s “angel” comes from the teaser video’s furigana reading for her moniker “Kaze no Megami-sama,” or “Goddess of Wind,” while the white bike’s name is “angel” in katakana). Highway no Datenshi will pit Hagiwara against “Lucifer,” a black-colored motorcycle that resembles Angel, and its mysterious rider.
A teaser visual for Highway no Datenshi was recently released. The movie will premiere in Japanese theaters on April 10, 2026.
Aoyama‘s Detective Conan (titled as Case Closed by Viz Media) manga began serialization in Shogakukan’s Weekly Shonen Sunday in 1994 and has 107 tankobon volumes as of April 2025. The TV anime premiered in 1996, and the first anime film was released in 1997.
