HBO Max has today delivered a first look at its 2026 programming slate for Australian audiences, showcasing a lineup stacked with new originals and the return of several culture defining favourites.
The brand spot features never before seen footage across drama, comedy, documentary and fantasy titles, signalling another big year for the service after it launched down under in March.
January kicks off with the second season of Emmy winning medical drama The Pitt, a new chapter of Industry and the arrival of Game of Thrones franchise series A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms.

They join returning heavy hitters across the year including Euphoria, House of the Dragon, Dune Prophecy and The Comeback, finally returning for its third and final season.
New series set to premiere include college comedy Rooster, darkly comic limited series DTF St. Louis, DC Studios mystery Lanterns, Gary Janetti’s animated satire The Prince and Mel Brooks documentary The 99 Year Old Man.
HBO is also rolling out an untitled Larry David sketch comedy project produced by Higher Ground, plus legal drama anthology War and multiverse adventure Stuart Fails to Save the Universe from The Big Bang Theory team.
With Rick and Morty, Smiling Friends, YOLO and more Adult Swim titles also joining the catalogue alongside blockbuster films and further announcements still to come, 2026 is shaping up to be a big year for the service locally.
