Synopsis

There, Takumi discovers two small children—a boy and a girl who appear to be twins. He names them Allen and Elena and decides to take them under his protection. To his surprise, the children effortlessly defeat monsters using advanced martial arts, far beyond what their young bodies should be capable of.

After safely reaching a nearby city, Takumi registers with the Adventurers’ Guild to earn a living. As he begins working as an adventurer, he also takes on a new role: raising Allen and Elena and watching over their growth in an unfamiliar world.

Thus begins a relaxed and heartwarming adventure, where battles, parenting, and everyday life blend together in a slow-paced fantasy about family, survival, and second chances.

A legendary case of mistaken identity is about to begin… A self-sacrificing high school boy dies after trying to save others–so when a god appears and tells him, “Congratulations! You’ve been reincarnated as the protagonist!” he can hardly believe his luck. Reborn into a novel-style fantasy world, he’s convinced this is his destined hero story at last. There’s just one problem. The god lied.

Armed with nothing but his absolute belief that “everything will work out because I’m the protagonist,” he trains with insane dedication, pushing his pitiful stats far beyond their limits. His reckless determination begins to warp the original storyline itself-saving tragic heroines, overturning doomed events, and slowly rewriting the fate of the world. “I am the protagonist… no matter what anyone says!” (Despite having trash-tier specs.)

“Who is that guy…? He’s completely unhinged.” —The real protagonist.

A delusional “hero” who isn’t one charges headfirst into destiny in this outrageous fantasy comedy where sheer effort, blind confidence, and narrative misunderstanding reshape the world itself.
