Ryusei Narukami—occupation: shut-in NEET.
He spends his days holed up at home, endlessly gaming… but in another world, he was once the Demon King!
One day, Meteor Hanaori appears before him—the Hero who defeated Ryusei long ago and who is now living as an ordinary high school girl.
After reuniting with Meteor, Ryusei manages to reenter society, landing a job as a high school teacher at Mikenshi Girls’ High School.
However, it turns out to be the very school Meteor attends!
Reincarnated into a peaceful world, the two meet once again— and a new romance between a former Demon King and a former Hero begins!?
The anime is based on the manga by Hekiru Hikawa, which started serialization in 2021 in Kodansha’s seinen magazine Morning Two and has eight volumes as of September 2025.
