The upcoming Haibara’s Teenage New Game+ (Haibara-kun no Tsuyokute Seishun New Game) TV anime has gotten a trailer.
It was also announced that the cast will include Kanna Nakamura as Miori Motomiya, Aya Yamane as Uta Sakura, and Sayumi Suzuhiro as Yuino Nanase. The character designs can be seen here.
Haibara’s Teenage New Game+ is based on the light novel series written by Kazuki Amamiya and illustrated by Gin. The anime will premiere sometime in April. J-Novel Club describes the books’ synopsis as such
We all have embarrassing memories or deep regrets from high school, right? Socially anxious college senior Natsuki Haibara sure does. When he thinks back on that time of his life, all he has are fleeting fantasies of a happy adolescence that could have been. The light novel series, which is published under Hobby Japan’s HJ Bunko label, began in 2021 and has nine volumes as of July 2025. There are two manga, with one of them, subtitled ~Ame ni Utareru Kimi ni Kasa o Saso~, being described as the second chapter of the story.
