Congress MP Priyanka Gandhi Vadra raised critical safety concerns regarding the Chandigarh-Shimla highway during her speech in Lok Sabha.
During the Question Hour, Gandhi said, “Sir, this is regarding the highway between Chandigarh and Simla, which has very similar issues as the Honourable Member raised, except that in many places it seems like the retaining wall is so low that those are the very places where the landslide is taking place. So may I request you to please look into the matter?
“And may I also request you to grant me an appointment? I’ve been asking since June to talk about my constituency, sir.”
