Fringe season is just around the corner, and if you’re anything like me and can’t wait to be back with your friends enjoying all the festivities, but feel the need to plan ahead, then you’re going to want to listen up.
Gluttony has revealed its biggest and boldest food and beverage lineup to date, with more than 25 street-food vendors, an awesome program of bars, and two brand-new pop-up restaurants. 2026 will see the largest culinary offering in Gluttony’s history, making it the best spot to stop for not just a show, but food and drink too. And these are the spots you’re going to want to check out.

Since joining the Fringes in 2011, Gluttony has incorporated food and beverage as a key part of the Fringe experience. This year, that ethos will be taken to new heights. Set in Rymill Park / Murlawirrapurka, Fringe-goers will be able to enjoy everything from casual street eats to premium dining.
Fresh from Celebrity MasterChef, Andre Ursino returns with a revived take on his beloved restaurant concept, Andre’s Cucina & Polenta Bar. The pop-up is celebrating the dishes that defined a decade of his original Adelaide venue, serving nostalgic favourites like bagna cauda with crisp crudités, polenta chips with spiced sugo, beef carpaccio, and his signature fine-grain polenta topped with slow-braised beef ragù or truffled mushrooms.

Joining him is Botanic Lodge, recently named in The Australian’s 2025 Hot 50 Restaurants and crowned Best Restaurant in the CBD by Adelaide Dining Magazine. The lakeside pop-up will showcase premium South Australian produce in a refined dining experience that still captures the classic Fringe energy. This is a rare chance to pair high-end dining with the fun of festival season.
A true Gluttony icon, Champagne Island is also making its return to the centre of Rymill Park Lake, accessible by footbridge and surrounded by water. The 2026 iteration raises the bar with an elevated selection of international labels and boutique grower champagnes, available by the glass or bottle. Expect everything from Moët & Chandon, Ruinart, Dom Pérignon, Camille Savès, Marcel Moineaux and Serveaux & Fils, all celebrating craftsmanship, terroir and sustainability in one of the most unique drinking settings of the Adelaide Fringe.

In 2026, Gluttony is expanding its footprint with three distinct street food precincts, including the returning City Side and Lakeside, plus the new Barrels Roadside precinct on the southern edge of the park. Designed for a more promenade-style experience, the layout will see festivalgoers lap the lake, enjoying global flavours as they go, or kicking back and picnicking on the hill.
If street food sounds like your type of thing, you’re in luck. New arrivals like Cheesy Street, Life Lemonade, Motherlode, Nagev and One Sneaky Cheetah will join much-loved favourites including Bao+, Gang Gang, La Boca, Messina, Ong, Pizzateca, Shibui and dozens more. Across the site, a diverse bar lineup rounds out the experience, from spritz mobiles and wine bars to cocktail lounges, tap rooms and the popular Pirate Life venues.
Gluttony continues its strong commitment to sustainability, with compostable foodware, reusable drink vessels, refillable water stations and eco-conscious packaging throughout the site. For those wanting a keepsake, a large Gluttony wine glass is also available to purchase and take home.
So in 2026, Gluttony is once again proving that Fringe dining isn’t just about fuelling up between shows, instead it’s a destination in its own right, and one you’ll definitely need to add to your Fringe bucket list.
