Western Sydney have also added Jacob Farrell to the squad, the left back joining them on loan from Championship side Portsmouth.
The Phoenix are on a three match winless run, having lost to Newcastle, drawn against City and lost to Melbourne Victory.

Round 16 result
Perth Glory: 2-2 draw against Macarthur FC (A)
Newcastle Jets: 3-2 win over Adelaide United (A)
Perth Glory keep plugging away as they fight for a finals spot, currently they sit ninth after a late equaliser from January signing Stefan Colakovski earned Perth a point against Macarthur, leaving them just three points away from the top six.
Newcastle have won all six of their matches this year, as they press on at the top of the table.
Adelaide gave them a bit of a fright last week, coming back from two goals down to equalise, but a Clayton Taylor hat-trick earned the Jets a 3-2 win.
Capping off the Jets top run of form, winger Eli Adams was named Shark Player of the Month for January.
When these sides last met in Round 5, it was Perth who took home the points with a 2-1 victory. Tom Lawrence and Nicholas Pennington scored for Perth, while Xavier Bertoncello got Newcastle’s goal.

Round 16 result
Melbourne Victory: 3-2 win over Wellington Phoenix (A)
Brisbane Roar: 2-1 loss to Central Coast Mariners (H)
Melbourne Victory replaced Brisbane Roar in the top six with their win over Wellington when Brisbane fell to Central Coast.
Victory had to work for their 3-2 win, Sebastian Esposito, Nishan Velupillay and Louis D’Arrigo scoring the goals.
New man Charles Nduka was found out for deliberately handling the ball for the second time in as many games, a habit he’s rather going to want to drop if he doesn’t want the yellow cards to accumulate.
Brisbane have now lost their last three in a row, the loss of centre back Lucas Herrington to MLS club Colorado Rapids being felt immensely.
The Roar have turned to Norwegian Marius Lode to plug that gap, the 32-year-old joining on loan from Swedish Allsvenskan club Häcken on loan for the rest of the season.
Fellow loan signing Nicholas D’Agostino grabbed his first goal on return to the Isuzu UTE A-League in their 2-1 loss to Central Coast.
Roar midfielder Sam Klein’s third minute goal was enough to split these sides when they met in Round 6 up at Suncorp Stadium.

Sydney struggled to break down Auckland’s defence last week, managing four shots on target and missing two big chances en route to being kept goalless.
They’ve turned to fringe Socceroos striker Apostolos Stamatelopoulos to try and find some goals, the 26-year-old joining on loan from Scottish club Motherwell until the end of the season.
Adelaide lost for just the second time this season, going down 3-2 to Newcastle Jets.
Spanish midfielder Juan Muñiz and winger Yaya Dukuly both grabbed their first goals for the season in the loss.
The Reds lost more than just the match against Newcastle, captain Craig Goodwin injured his groin during the first half of the match and will be out for 10-12 weeks.
