Set five years after the events of Friday the 13th, the legend of Jason Voorhees and his diabolical mother lives on. Despite ominous warnings from the locals, a group of counselors at a nearby summer camp decide to explore the sight of the Camp Crystal Lake massacre. All too soon, the killing begins again.

Steve Miner (Halloween H20) directs from a script by Ron Kurz.

Amy Steel and John Furey star, with Jason played by Steve Daskewisz while masked and Warrington Gillette when unmasked. Adrienne King, Betsy Palmer, and Walt Gorney reprise their roles from the first film.

Jason will appear alongside his beloved mother in A24’s Friday the 13th prequel series “Crystal Lake” on Peacock in 2026.
