Mr Brown held the record for the youngest Australian to win an Olympic medal for sailing until Elise Rechichi won the gold medal in 2008.
Ms Taylor said that part of the major appeal of the apartment was its size and rarity.
“It’s a house size apartment, which is incredibly rare to get. It has the largest outdoor entertaining areas I’ve seen, and it’s absolutely waterfront.”

Not only is the apartment on the water, but it includes a private boat slip, a feature Ms Taylor said was extremely rare in the area.
“It’s the only apartment block that I’m aware of in Manly that has a slip. So you’ve got your own boat shed and you can put your boat in the water.
“That’s very rare for an apartment block.”

Spread over one level are four bedrooms, including a generous master suite with en suite, two additional bathrooms, a large living room, and a kitchen and dining area.
For buyers keen on entertaining, there are two expansive terraces on each side of the property offering exceptional ocean vistas.
The terraces are fitted with retractable awnings and one includes a wet bar.

Despite only being listed a week ago, Ms Taylor said interest had been “very good” and the apartment was appealing to various demographics, including downsizers.
“Not many apartments meet the needs of downsizers, and this is one that absolutely does,” she said. “You still have that ‘lock-up and leave’ ease, but you’ve got the size of a house.”
And it’s not just Sydney buyers who can see the appeal, Ms Taylor is fielding interest both locally and internationally.
“We’ve got international buyers looking, we’ve got interstate, and there’s a lot of buyers from all over Sydney.”
