Flamefest set to dazzle, bringing food-trucks, fire-shows and breath-taking entertainers to Salisbury

As Adelaide eases into the cooler months, many of us are still riding the high of Mad March and all the great events we’ve been privy to – think the Adelaide Festival, WOMADelaide and the Fringe. But just as the city begins to catch its breath, Food Music Art Events is stepping in to keep the party going, bringing Flamefest to Adelaide after an impressive stint interstate.

Promising dazzling fire shows, roaming performers, FMX stunts, live music, food trucks, a buzzing bar and artisan markets, it’s sure to be an absolute sensory spectacle.

Having previously organised numerous food truck festivals, they will have a food-truck line-up worth the trip alone. We’ve all been there: out for dinner with the family and everyone wants something different. One person is craving a sloppily delicious, steaming-hot butter chicken, another is eyeing off a fresh and tangy yiros, while you refuse to settle for anything less than irresistible bao buns. At Flamefest, though, you won’t have to choose, as you’ll have access to flavours from all corners of the globe (just a couple of steps apart from each other). Pack a picnic blanket and a camp chair or two, and settle in for a night that will delight your eyes, your ears and – of course – your taste buds.

Food Music Art Events, the team organising the festivities, will kick things off in Salisbury, bringing two jam-packed days to Carisbrooke Park on 24 – 25 April 2026. The festival will then roll on to Hart’s Mill in Port Adelaide on 8 – 9 May, before finishing their SA tour at Wilfred Taylor Reserve in Morphett Vale on 15 – 16 May.

Having hosted numerous family-friendly events in the past, Food Music Art Events Group are no stranger to putting on a good time. They know that fun, family events aren’t about expensive tickets or high-class shows, but rather accessible experiences that families of all shapes and sizes can enjoy. Bring a picnic rug and some chairs, and suddenly you have a front row seat to international talent. It will be a smorgasbord of exciting, flavourful food, and a fanfare of fire and flames under the night sky.

Flamefest is sure to be the perfect way to warm up and have fun as our autumn and winter nights grow chillier.
