From: Natick

I am so excited to be running the 2026 Boston Marathon for Spark Kindness, Inc. This fantastic local Natick organization works tirelessly to empower children to become successful, positive, authentic, and resilient kids.

Every dollar raised will go toward the programs, resources, and tools that Spark brings to families, organizations, and the community. Spark’s work centers values such as kindness, justice, empathy, and resilience to increase positive health outcomes for youth and entire communities.

As a mom of two, and an ESL teacher for the past 11 years, I have witnessed the effects of the increasing hate, intolerance, bullying, and discrimination within our schools and communities. I strive to ensure that all children and their families feel welcomed, supported, and respected, no matter what. Running has always been a passion and hobby of mine and I have run half-marathons, but this will be my first full marathon. I could not think of a better first marathon than Boston, or a worthier cause than kindness.

I am honored to help Spark continue their vital work in addressing the harmful effects of disconnection, such as bullying, racism, and mental illness. With everything happening in the world, this message has never been more crucial or relevant than it is right now.

If you are able, please join me in my fundraising efforts in any way possible, and partner with Spark and their life-changing work. Because all children deserve to feel safe, cared for, and welcomed in their schools and communities. Thank you for any and all support!
