Make Your Own Pizza on Monday, February 16th at Bardo’s

Bardo’s is hosting a make-your-own-pizza day on Monday! Each ticket allows you to make your own pizza and comes with your choice of drink from @castleislandbeer  – Get your tickets here!

Kids Pickleball Clinic at PickleBos

Looking for a fun, active way to keep kids busy during February break? PickleBOS, Boston’s newest and largest home for pickleball, is hosting two Pickleball Clinics for kids during the school vacation week, giving families an easy and energetic indoor activity to keep the kids busy while school is out.  Designed for kids ages 7–12, the half-day clinics include a President’s Day Clinic on Monday, February 16, and a February Break Clinic on Friday, February 20, both running from 9:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Each action-packed session is $85 and includes fun drills, games, match play, coaching from two instructors, off-court challenges, and pizza for all participants. Paddles and equipment are provided, and parents are welcome to drop off or stay and work from the PickleBOS lounge area. To register for a clinic or book a court, visit https://www.picklebos.com/

President’s Day Festival

The JFK Presidential Library is hosting a Presidents’ Day festival that’s way more than your average history lesson. Think presidential storytelling, hands-on crafts, live music, and fun activities inspired by America250 and even presidential pets (turns out the White House has had some pretty cute residents over the years). It’s an all-ages event, with free admission for kids 17 and under. The first 350 children through the door will receive a special keepsake, and adults can get a discounted ticket by keeping an eye on @jfklibraryfdn for the official code. A little history, a little fun, and a solid way to keep everyone entertained while school’s out.

Clover Clubhouse Open Play Drop Off

Lace up those bowling shoes!

Head to East Broadway to Southie Candlepin and bowl a few strings at this old-school institution! They are open daily 12pm-7pm.  Are big balls more of your thing? Kings Dining & Entertainment in the Seaport District offers all kinds of fun! This new hot spot features 20,000 square feet of fun at 60 Seaport Boulevard complete with 16 lanes of big ball bowling, a “bar-Kade” filled with video games, pool tables, foosball a giant four-man air hockey table, shuffleboard, and hoops!

Library fun

Boston Public Library is offering some fun events this week!  Crafts, activities, stories, and Cinderella!  For a full schedule, visit here! 

Let’s go skating!

Looking for a fun way to keep the kids entertained? Lace up the skates and hit the ice.  The Murphy Rink is now offering public skating.  If you don’t have skates, don’t worry, you can rent them! If your blades are dull, you can get them sharpened there too! You can find Public Skating Hours here!

Go Wild at Franklin Park Zoo

Children’s Winter Festival

Mayor Michelle Wu and the Boston Parks and Recreation Department present the annual Children’s Winter Festival on the Boston Common Parade Ground on Saturday, February 21st from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Visit boston.gov/winterfest for more information about this family-friendly school vacation week event.

Lego Maritime Festival At the USS Constitution Museum

Join us during February Vacation week as the USS Constitution Museum welcomes back the annual LEGO® Maritime Festival!  It’s a week full of creativity and construction!! All ages are invited to build and enter their ships into the annual USS Constitution Museum’s LEGO® Ship Shape Competition. You can get the full details here!

Celebrate National Engineers Week with hands-on activities such as LEGO engineering, bridge building, and AI storytelling!
