The creditless opening animation sequence for Fate/strange Fake has been released on YouTube.
The series’ directors Shun Enokido and Takahito Sakazume (Fate/Apocrypha action directors) storyboarded the sequence, while Toru Iwazawa (Frieren: Beyond Journey’s End Season 1 action director) was the unit director. The opening song is “PROVANT” by SawanoHiroyuki[nZk]:Jean-Ken Johnny & TAKUMA.
Aniplex also released the ending animation, which has storyboards, unit direction, and animation direction from tkg (Eve “Teenage Blue” music video character designer). The ending song is “Senzaiteki na Ai” by 13.3g.
Fate/strange Fake began its regular TV broadcast on January 3, 2026 with the re-airing of the Fate/strange Fake -Whispers of Dawn- TV special and the series’ first episode. The anime adapts the Dengeki Bunko light novel series written by Ryohgo Narita and illustrated by Shizuki Morii. Crunchyroll describes the show as such:

The Fate/strange Fake light novel series, one of the many titles in the Fate multimedia franchise, began in 2015 and has nine volumes as of March 2024. Sakazume previously storyboarded and unit directed a TV commercial for the books, which have a manga adaptation.
Fate/strange Fake -Whispers of Dawn- was first released in 2023 after a delay from its intended premiere at Fate Project New Year’s Eve TV Special 2022. The TV anime’s first episode was previously released in December 2024. An advance screening of the second episode was held at FGO Fes. 2025 in August 2025.
