Fallen Angel of the Highway Reveals New Trailer

The Detective Conan: Fallen Angel of the Highway (Detective Conan:Highway no Datenshi) anime movie has received a pre-release trailer ahead of its April 10 premiere in Japan.

The 29th Detective Conan film involves Conan and Miyuki Sawashiro‘s Chihaya Hagiwara facing the high tech motorcycle Lucifer and its mysterious rider.

Detective Conan began with the manga by Gosho Aoyama. The manga (titled Case Closed by Viz Media) started serialization in Shogakukan’s Weekly Shonen Sunday in 1994 and will release its 108th volume in Japan on April 8, 2026. Viz Media describes the manga’s synopsis as such:

Precocious high school student Jimmy Kudo uses his keen powers of observation and astute intuition to solve mysteries that have left law enforcement officials baffled. Hot on the trail of a suspect, Jimmy is accosted from behind and fed a strange chemical which physically transforms him into a grade schooler! Taking on the pseudonym Conan Edogawa, he attempts to track down the people who did this to him. But until he finds a cure for his bizarre condition, Jimmy continues to help the police solve their toughest cases.

The Detective Conan TV anime premiered in 1996, and the first anime film was released in 1997. Seven Detective Conan movies, including last year’s Detective Conan: One-eyed Flashback, are among the top 100 highest-grossing films in Japan.
