Titan Manga has revealed an exclusive preview of the front cover and art of the upcoming third volume of Saint Seiya: Dark Wing. Volume three is scheduled to be released in print on May 12, 2026.
The third volume’s main synopsis is described by Titan Manga as:
The war of the gods gets personal in this gripping third volume of the Saint Seiya: Dark Wing manga. Shōichirō, now the Wyvern Judge of the Underworld, faces his own twin brother – Sōjirō, the formidable Gemini Gold Saint – in a fateful clash between realms.
As Athena’s reincarnation, Cattleya, is struck by a cursed arrow, the stakes skyrocket. With the shadowy god Yaldabaoth entering the fray and secrets unraveling on all sides, the balance between Sanctuary and the Underworld teeters on the edge of collapse.
Saint Seiya: Dark Wing is a spinoff manga series of Masami Kurumada’s original 1985-1990 Saint Seiya manga series. It is written by Kenji Saito and illustrated by Shinshu Ueda, beginning serialization in Akita Shoten’s Champion Red monthly magazine on December 19, 2020. Eight tankobon volumes have been released as of December 2025.
The original Saint Seiya manga inspired several TV anime adaptations, sequel and spinoff manga, and a live-action 2023 film adaptation. The Knights of the Zodiac: Saint Seiya 3DCG series ran for two seasons containing four parts between 2019 to 2024, with Netflix streaming the first season and Crunchyroll streaming the second season.
