A main trailer for the upcoming Eren the Southpaw TV anime has been released. It includes previews of the newly announced theme songs: the opening theme “FUNKIN’ BEAUTIFUL” by ALI feat. ZORN and the ending theme “New Walk” by Ima Murasaki.
Eren the Southpaw (Hidarikiki no Eren) will begin airing on April 7 at 24 PM JST (effectively April 8 at 12 AM JST). The premise sees Koichi Asakura, a young designer at an advertising firm who works hard while dreaming of becoming famous, recalling the memory of Eren, a genius he met in his high school days.
Eren the Southpaw began as a manga by Kappi, which was followed by a Shueisha-published remake written by Kappi and drawn by nifuni. The remake manga ran on Shonen Jump+ from 2017 to 2022, with physical volumes published under the Jump Comics+ label.
The story has also been adapted into a TV drama.
