England all-rounder Moeen Ali has officially entered the draft for the Pakistan Super League (PSL 11), set to be played in 2026.
His participation was confirmed after the star cricketer announced the news across his social media platforms, inviting excitement among PSL fans.
In his post, Moeen expressed his enthusiasm, saying:
I’m really excited to be joining PSL in its new era. The league has built a strong reputation for top-quality T20 cricket, with world-class talent in every squad. Playing in Pakistan is always special—the standard of cricket is exceptional, and the passion of the fans pushes you to perform at your best. I’m looking forward to being part of it again and creating new memories. Ready for another special experience, Insha’Allah!
Moeen Ali is no stranger to the league. He previously represented Multan Sultans, featuring in their middle order and contributing both with bat and ball.
Since the Multan Sultans franchise is currently undergoing a rebrand, Moeen’s inclusion immediately sparked debate among fans about which franchise he should represent in PSL 11. Will he stay with Multan, or will he be signed by the other franchises, including the newly added cities, Gilgit and Faisalabad?
Besides Moeen Ali, another big international star that will be joining PSL 11 is the South African star batter faf Du Plessis, who recently announced his decision to skip the IPL draft and focus on “new challenges” in the PSL 2026.
