Australia’s favourite beachside dance party is back. Electric Island will make its grand return in 2026, bringing world-class electronic acts to three sun-drenched cities — Adelaide, Melbourne and Perth — for an unforgettable run of open-air shows.
Kicking off at Glenelg Beach on April 11, the series then hits Melbourne’s RIVA and Cottesloe Beach in Perth for two-day weekenders on April 18 and 19. This time, the series will be headlined by global dance icons Armand Van Helden and Above & Beyond, alongside local legends Flight Facilities (DJ Set).
Spanning three decades, Armand Van Helden has cemented his status as one of house music’s most celebrated names. From genre-defining club anthems like My My My and I Want Your Soul to global smashes with Duck Sauce (Barbara Streisand, anyone?), the Grammy-nominated producer remains a master of keeping dancefloors alive. Expect a set packed with classics, energy and that unmistakable Armand groove.
Joining the lineup in Melbourne and Perth are UK heavyweights Above & Beyond, the Grammy-nominated trio behind the iconic radio show Group Therapy and some of the most euphoric dance tracks of the century. With their new album Bigger Than All Of Us fresh off the press, their live sets promise a blend of emotion and energy that fans around the world know all too well.
Rounding out all dates are Sydney favourites Flight Facilities, returning with their trademark feel-good flair. From Crave You to Clair de Lune, the duo’s catalogue reads like a decade-long soundtrack to Australian summers — and this one’s set to be no exception.
Promoter Damian Gelle said the expansion marks an exciting chapter for the festival. “Next year our Electric Island run expands into three states with five open-air shows across some of Australia’s finest shorelines including our debut at Melbourne’s lush Riviera Beach Club in St Kilda,” he said.
Presented by T1000 Events, the independent team behind Electric Gardens, Electric Island has quickly become a cornerstone of the Australian electronic scene. After a sold-out 2025 series that drew 25,000 fans, the festival returns bigger and better — pairing nostalgia with the future of dance music, all set against Australia’s most iconic beaches.
Presale starts 8am local time Wednesday 22 October, with general sale from 8am Thursday 23 October.
