A teaser trailer and additional cast members, and “Lost World” visual have been revealed for the upcoming Draw This, Then Die! TV anime series. The anime is scheduled to begin broadcasting in Japan in July 2026.
The newly announced four additional cast members (from left to right below) include:

- • Yukana as Hana Kongouji

They join a main voice cast that stars:

Hiroaki Akagi (The Dangers in My Heart) is directing the anime series, with Hiroko Fukuda (You Were Experienced, I Was Not: Our Dating Story) as series composer and Kenji Sagawa (UniteUp! sub-character designer) as character designer. Shin-Ei Animation is in charge of the animation production.
The anime adaptation is the coming-of-age manga series by Minoru Toyoda, which was first serialized in Shogakukan’s Monthly Shonen Sunday (Gessan) magazine on November 12, 2021. Eight tankobon volumes have been published in Japan as of October 2025.
The manga was also the winner of the 16th Manga Taisho Award and the 70th Shogakukan Manga Award.

Seven Seas Entertainment licensed the Draw This, Then Die! manga for English release, describing the main synopsis as:
