The upcoming TV anime series, Draw This, Then Die (Kore Kaite Shine), will premiere in July 2026. The series has also revealed some art boards that will be seen throughout the series.
Draw This, Then Die was first announced in October 2025 where it also announced that Hiroaki Akagi is directing the series and Shin-Ei Animation is animating the series.
Draw This, Then Die is a coming-of-age manga written and illustrated by Minoru Toyoda. It began serialization in 2021 in Shogakukan’s Monthly Shounen Sunday and as of January 2026, released a total of eight volumes. It follows a young high school girl named Ai Yasumi who loves manga and is thinking of creating a manga of her own after a certain event. The series is set in Izu Oshima, a volcanic island and the largest island of the Izu peninsula in Tokyo, Japan.
