Marcia Hines may be back on the Australian Idol judging panel for 2026, but it is her pint sized new companion quietly stealing the spotlight behind the scenes.

Tonight’s episode of Better Homes and Gardens introduces viewers to Bratha, the tiny pup who has quickly become Marcia Hines’ constant companion both on and off set.

The beloved Australian music icon has welcomed the new arrival into her life, with the pooch already providing plenty of cuddles and moral support during Idol duties.

Dr Harry meets up with Hines to learn more about the little dog that has completely won her over, offering a glimpse into the singer’s life away from the spotlight and the bond she has quickly formed with her new furry friend.

Elsewhere in the episode, Adam shares simple tricks to fix sticky kitchen drawers so cutlery is always within easy reach, solving one of the most common household annoyances.

Graham begins the first part of a two week journey through New Zealand, exploring some of the country’s most spectacular gardens while taking in Auckland’s vibrant food scene, geothermal landscapes and coastal scenery.

Melissa also heads to Melbourne’s inner north to explore Brunswick, digging into whether the suburb’s thriving culture, cafes and music scene come with a price tag locals can actually afford.
