A teaser visual for upcoming TV anime Dodge Danko has been revealed. Staff and cast details were also announced.
Ikehata Hiroshi (Witch Watch, Dark Gathering)) is directing the show at CUE. Kazuho Hyodo (365 Days to the Wedding, Tonikawa: Over the Moon for You)) is the series composer, while Narihito Sekikawa (f My Wife Became an Elementary School Student) is the character designer.

Meanwhile, the cast includes Manaka Nakayama as Danko Ichigeki, Kaori Maeda as Chinko Kobotoke, Akira Sekine as Mochiko Etai, Yo Taichi as Susan Canon, and Yu Sasahara as Honey Otohana.
Dodge Danko (Hono no Toukyuji Dodge Danko) will begin airing this year. The anime is based on Tetsuhiro Koshita‘s dodge ball-themed manga, which is a Reiwa era-set sequel to Koshita’s Hono no Toukyuji Dodge Danpei starring the daughter of the previous work’s Danpei. The Dodge Danko manga started serialization in November 2022 in Shogakukan’s Weekly Corocoro Comic and has six volumes as of August 2025.
Hono no Toukyuji Dodge Danpei debuted in 1989 and has its own anime. There are several Dodge Danpei video games.
