Disha Patani’s custom evening gown by Falguni Shane Peacock was a high-shine affair of silver embellishments, sequins and intricate beadwork. Styled by Aratrika Mukherjee, the halter-neck gown is crafted in sheer tulle, encrusted with sequins, crystals and micro-beadwork that catch and refract light from every angle. Its liquid-metal finish gives the illusion of molten silver draped, giving it an almost armour-like quality.
The design plays with negative space in a bold yet controlled manner. A sharply contoured cut-out at the midriff creates a striking visual break, accentuating the waist while adding edge. The back, similarly, plunges dramatically into a deep, open cut, framed by delicate embellished straps that trace the shoulders and spine like fine jewellery.
To complement the look, she wears diamond studs paired with shimmery floral bracelets and a stack of rings.
Makeup by Riya D Sheth channels soft, sultry glamour with a luminous, skin-like base and subtle contouring. Her eyes take focus with a diffused brown smoky look and fluttery lashes. A hint of blush warms the cheeks, paired with a glossy rose-tinted lip.

“The look is glamorous and red-carpet ready. Dial it up a notch by adding a bit of bling to the hair, a crystal hairstick with tassels to catch the light as she moves,” says Manglien Gangte, Vogue India fashion associate.
