Kyle Sandilands has now also spoken out over the escalating ARN saga, insisting he has not breached his contract and wants to return to the airwaves.
In a statement released Tuesday afternoon, the KIIS FM host addressed listeners, colleagues and the wider public following the extraordinary fallout that has engulfed the network’s flagship breakfast program.
The statement comes just days after Jackie ‘O’ Henderson released her own statement rejecting reports she had quit the show and disputing the way the situation had been portrayed publicly.

Sandilands acknowledged the on air argument with long time co host Jackie ‘O’ Henderson that sparked the crisis, saying he regretted how the exchange unfolded.
“I said things I wish I had said differently,” Sandilands said.
“I sent Jackie a message telling her I was sorry for anything I said that didn’t go down well, that I love her and care for her, and that I could have handled it better.”

Sandilands described the possibility of their partnership ending after more than two decades as deeply upsetting.
“Jackie and I have worked together for over 25 years. She is one of the most important people in my life. The idea that our partnership could end like this is devastating to me.”
The radio star also claimed he had been prevented from contacting his co host or colleagues as the situation unfolded.
“ARN told me that I am not allowed to contact Jackie. They have told me that I am not allowed to speak to my colleagues,” he said.
Sandilands also disputed ARN’s position that he had breached his services agreement.
“Despite what ARN says, I am not in breach of that contract.”
The host confirmed his agreement with ARN runs through to 2034 and said he intends to honour it.
“I want to be on air. I want to be with my audience. I want to do the job I have done my entire adult life.”
Sandilands finished his message by directly addressing listeners who have followed the show for decades.
“To my listeners: Thank you. I miss you. I’ll be back.”

The latest statement marks another dramatic chapter in the unfolding dispute between ARN and the duo behind one of Australia’s most successful radio shows.
It’s a saga that appears far from finished.
