A two-minute main trailer for the upcoming Agents of the Four Seasons: Dance of Spring TV anime has been released.
The preview shows Hinagiku Kayo, the Agent of Spring whose disappearance 10 years prior to the story led to the season’s absence, preparing to bring forth spring once more. Hinagiku’s guard Sakura Himedaka, as well as their Winter, Summer, and Autumn counterparts, also make an appearance, with some of the Guards displaying their combat ability.
Agents of the Four Seasons: Dance of Spring also received a main visual, the reveal of its March 28, 24 PM JST (effectively March 29 at 12 AM JST) broadcast premiere date, and the announcement of its theme song details. The opening theme song is “Petals,” while the ending song is “Hanaikada.” Both songs feature the vocals of Kase (vocaloid producer Orangestar was previously announced to be the main artist) and can be heard in the trailer.

Additionally, it was announced that a pre-screening event will be held on March 15 at Shinjuku Wald 9.
Agents of the Four Seasons: Dance of Spring is based on the Agents of the Four Seasons light novel series written by Kana Akatsuki (Violet Evergarden) and illustrated by Suoh. The light novels’ first, two-parter volume shares the anime’s Dance of Spring subtitle, and Yen Press describes the first entry as such:
Winter was once the only season in the world-but such an existence was too lonely to bear, and so it created Spring to love. Before long, the earth wished for more time to rest in the cycle, and Summer and Autumn were born. The ones who carry the cycle are called the Agents of the Four Seasons. Hinagiku, the Agent of Spring, disappeared from this land ten years ago, taking the season of spring with her. Now, after incredible hardship, she has returned to restore the cycle to its proper state-and, as in the myth passed down since the dawn of time, she sends her love to Winter.
The light novels, which are published under KADOKAWA’s Dengeki Bunko label, began in 2021 and number eight volumes (two-parters included) as of December 2024. There is also a manga by Nappa Komatsuda.
