Coming Soon to the Neighborhood: Hawksmoor, the iconic London Steakhouse will open in Fort Point this Fall
Hawksmoor, the iconic London steakhouse, is coming to Boston this fall, bringing 20 years of quietly built acclaim as one of the best steakhouses in the world. Located on the ground floor of 15 Necco in Fort Point, Hawksmoor Boston will seat 200 guests and feature a large outdoor dining terrace with sweeping views of the Fort Point Channel. Over the last two decades, Hawksmoor has set the standard for the modern steakhouse, sourcing thoughtfully and sustainably raised beef, dry-aging it in-house, and cooking it over charcoal. The Hawksmoor Eight Signature cuts are paired with an award-winning bar program known for Sub-Zero Martinis, Sour Cherry Negronis, and a deep respect for craft.
The Hawksmoor Sunday Roast, with all the trimmings, has become a mainstay weekend tradition at all their properties and it will continue at the Boston location. In addition to serving its classics, Hawksmoor Boston will have some of its own unique additions and nods to the city.
Hawksmoor has been awarded one of the Best Places to Work, and has one of the highest ethical achievements, as a B-Corporation. 15 Necco is a Platinum LEED certification building, which mirrors Hawksmoor’s commitment to sustainability.
The restaurant interiors will be warm and inviting, with dark blue and green paneled walls, leather and velvet seating, and wood and brass-topped tables. No tablecloths, stiff uniforms, or stuffy service. It’s attractive and handsome, but always welcome, with a come-as-you-are approach.
Hawksmoor has been ranked the #1 steakhouse in the world and was recently named the #2 steakhouse group by World’s Best Steaks, with its bar program a 2025 James Beard Foundation Awards semifinalist. Hawksmoor Boston will be the group’s 15th restaurant internationally, launching in its 20th anniversary year.
