A new trailer has been revealed for the ongoing second season of Chained Soldier, which highlights the “Yokohama Battle” Arc and a new cast addition. Season two premiered in Japan on January 8, 2026.
Voice actress Ami Koshimizu joins the cast as Kuusetsu in the second season, whose character is spotlighted in the latest trailer, along with second unit commander Mira Kamiunten.

Masafumi Tamura (The Misfit of Demon King Academy) is directing the anime’s second season, with Keiya Nakano (Loner Life in Another World) as character designer, and Yasuhiro Nakanishi (reprising) as series composer. Passione and Hayabusa Film are in charge of the animation production, with the latter replacing SevenArcs.
The anime is based on the erotic dark fantasy action manga series written by Takahiro and drawn by Yohei Takemura, which began serialization on Shueisha’s Shonen Jump+ on January 5, 2019. Twenty tankobon volumes have been released as of January 2026. Yen Press licensed the manga for English release.
The first season of Chained Soldier aired for 12 episodes from January 2024 to March 2024 during the Winter 2024 anime season.

Two supernatural forces appeared simultaneously on Earth: entrances to another dimension known as Mato, and Peaches, resources that give unique abilities to women. From the Mato come Yomotsu Shuuki, dangerous monsters that leave destruction in their wake. The government’s Anti-demon Corps stands against these creatures, employing women empowered by Peaches to face the monstrous threat. Yuuki Wakura watches these forces clash from a distance, but when he unexpectedly runs afoul of a Yomotsu Shuuki, he’s rescued by Kyouka Uzen, the chief of the Seventh Unit of the Anti-demon Corp — and she sees something in him that could turn the tide of the monster incursion. Yuki holds the unique power to make Peaches more effective, but he’ll have to become Kyoka’s willing slave to join the fight against the Yomotsu Shuuki and save the world.
