Love Island Australia is back in business for 2026, with producers officially opening the doors for a new batch of singles ready to couple up and cause chaos.
Applications are now open for season 8 of Nine’s digital hit series Love Island Australia, inviting hopefuls aged 19 to 30 to put themselves forward for a shot at villa life.
The casting call promises the usual mix of sun soaked romance and strategic coupling, with producers teasing a luxurious villa setting and plenty of opportunities for sparks to fly.
“We have a luxurious villa, with plenty of room for sexy singles to have fun in the sun & find the loves of their lives.”

Hosted by Sophie Monk, the series remains one of Nine’s strongest streaming performers, sitting just behind the networks other hit dating series MAFS in the BVOD rankings and continuing to deliver for younger audiences.
As reported by TV Blackbox’s Rob McKnight last month, there are ongoing whispers the show could relocate production closer to home for future seasons, with Fiji tipped as a potential new base, though nothing has been confirmed yet.
If you’re single, camera ready and keen for a summer to remember, ITV Studios is ready to pull you for a chat, with filming set for seven consecutive weeks, tentatively between July and August 2026.
