CASTING | 10 opens casting for next season of AUSTRALIAN SURVIVOR

Casting is now open nationwide for possible future instalments of the popular reality series, a move that signals long term intent despite no official renewal announcement from the network just yet.

The timing is notable, coming just days after the latest season launched to modest audiences that fell sharply across premiere week, with viewers yet to fully embrace new host David Genat and the Redemption theme drawing a mixed response.

Applications are now open for men and women from all backgrounds across Australia who believe they can endure harsh conditions, complex social gameplay and life in close quarters with strangers.

Hopeful contestants must be at least 18 years old, able to swim, physically and mentally resilient, and ready to compete for the title of Sole Survivor.

As previously reported by TV Blackbox, a production shift for future seasons from Samoa to Malaysia is understood to be locked in, with insiders suggesting two instalments could be filmed back to back as part of that plan.

Opening casting after the franchise’s first week on air suggests the network and production company are keen to keep the pipeline moving and begin auditions, with the show traditionally filming in the second half of the year, typically between July and September.

For anyone confident they can outwit, outplay and outlast, applications are open now.
