Can These England Superstars Play in PSL 11?

With England’s Ben Stokes and Harry Brook opting out of this year’s IPL auction, speculation is growing over whether the English trio could make a high-profile appearance in Pakistan Super League (PSL 11).

Their potential arrival comes at a time when several global stars are already shifting their focus toward the Pakistan Super League. South Africa’s Faf du Plessis has opted out of the IPL, calling the PSL a “new challenge,” while Australia’s Glenn Maxwell has also ruled himself out of India’s tournament this season, raising fan hopes that he may join a PSL franchise instead.

Meanwhile, Andre Russell has announced his retirement from playing in the IPL, though he expressed interest in continuing with Kolkata Knight Riders and other Knight Riders-affiliated teams in a coaching role. His decision has further fueled talk of major T20 names redistributing their commitments across global leagues.

As for England’s stars, both Harry Brook and Ben Stokes are currently engaged in the ongoing Ashes series in Australia, leaving their franchise plans for 2026 wide open. Should they choose the PSL route, they will link up with fellow English all-rounder Moeen Ali, who has already confirmed his return for the upcoming season.

PSL 11, scheduled for April 2026, will mark a historic edition for the league with the addition of two new teams, making the competition even more attractive for global cricket icons.

The ball is now in PSL’s court. Can they bring Stokes, Brook, and the other big names to Pakistan’s premier T20 tournament?
