Superstar K-pop band BTS have announced their grand return to the stage with an expansive world tour in 2026 and 2027. The tour, set to be the most monumental in both their career and K-pop history, will cover 34 regions with 79 performances. It will include debut shows in multiple cities and is expected to bring an unprecedented new chapter for the group and their expansive fanbase, ARMY.
Kicking off on April 9th in Goyang, South Korea, BTS will perform three nights before moving through major global cities including Tokyo, Las Vegas, London, Paris and many more. The tour will bring multi-night performances in all listed cities, showcasing the immense global demand for BTS.
Unique stops include performances in cities like Bogotá, Buenos Aires, and Kaohsiung for the first time. These shows are part of the tour’s later segments, reaching Latin America and Asia. The Australian leg will see BTS perform in both Melbourne and Sydney, with specific venue and ticket details to be announced closer to the dates.
This tour is not just a series of concerts but a historical event for BTS and the K-pop genre at large. The group will perform in El Paso, TX and Foxborough, MA, for the first time at the Sun Bowl Stadium and Gillette Stadium. These performances will be the largest headline K-pop concerts ever in these cities. BTS will also debut at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium in London and become one of the first K-pop acts to perform at several prominent US stadiums.
The band is also introducing a new 360-degree, in-the-round stage design, placing the audience at the very heart of the experience and increasing venue capacity. This setup highlights BTS’s innovative approach to enhancing concert experiences and their dedication to their fans.
This upcoming tour will be the group’s first major live performances since their ‘PERMISSION TO DANCE ON STAGE’ tour, which wrapped up in 2022. It reinvigorates their presence in the global music scene after a brief hiatus, during which each member focused on individual projects and personal growth.
BTS, known formally as Bangtan Sonyeondan, has been a formidable force in the music industry since their debut in 2013. The group consists of RM, Jin, SUGA, j-hope, Jimin, V, and Jung Kook. They are recognised for their self-produced music and powerful performances, which resonate deeply with fans globally.
With six No.1 hits on the Billboard Hot 100 since 2020 and multiple sold-out stadium tours, their influence and popularity are undeniable. The group has been nominated for five GRAMMY Awards and has won numerous international accolades, cementing their status as global pop icons.
As ARMYs around the world anticipate BTS’s return to the stage, the group promises not only to deliver spectacular performances but also to debut new music in the spring of 2026. This new music will herald their much-awaited comeback, setting the stage for a memorable and historic world tour.
