Bhumi Pednekkar’s recent Itrh look is a nod to the growing trend of corset saris. Styled by Nidhi Jeswani, the black sari leans into the actor’s personal style of monochromatic and structured silhouette and manifests a vibe that’s traditional and modern in equal measure. The black velvet corset accentuates her midriff evocatively, perfectly aligning with her penchant for wearing fitted silhouettes. The skirt continues the sculpted look, while the pallu lies loosely draped over her shoulder, more in the style of a cape.
Tiger-stripe prints glint across the drape in shimmery crystals, a striking presence on the sheer tulle. The drape gathers softly at the waist before falling away, lending fluidity and dimension to the look.
The oxidised jewellery curated from Shri Paramani Jewels included a statement silver choker and a pair of rings that add a handcrafted touch to the ensemble.
Her tousled hair is kept open in a centre part, for a sultry finish to the look. Her makeup—a luminous bronze palette paired with chocolate-brown smoky eyes and a deep mauve glossy lip—adds a touch of high shine.

“Dial up the dark feminine energy, glossy black lids and slick back hair. Add a pair of platform pumps to elongate the silhouette and stack a pile of silver cuffs and bangles on the left arm – think studs,” says Manglien Gangte, Vogue India fashion associate.
