The classic black pump has long been a timeless wardrobe staple, and with good reason. But for spring/summer 2026, a new contender has emerged as an alternative choice: the beige pump. Seen on the runways at the likes of Chanel, Balenciaga and Calvin Klein, the style has shaken off its conservative associations (think Phoebe Philo-era Céline, rather than the Princess of Wales at a Buckingham Palace garden party), and become one of the chicest ways to add a dash of polish to an outfit this spring.

At Chanel, two-tone pumps gave a fresh feel to the classic nude heel, as did the more severe V-neck silhouette seen on the Balenciaga runway. Meanwhile, at Calvin Klein, Veronica Leoni leant into our penchant for granny shoes via a low-heeled nude pump.
