Beastars Final Season Part 2 Reveals Opening Theme & More Cast in Latest Trailer

The latest trailer has been revealed for the upcoming Beastars Final Season Part 2, which confirmed its opening theme song and three additional cast members. The second part will debut on Netflix on March 7, 2026. 

The opening theme song spotlighted in the new Beastars Final Season Part 2 trailer is “LA FERALIA” by the anime’s music composer Satoru Kosaki

Additionally, the three new cast members consist of Aya Endo as Ten, Wataru Takagi as Miso, and Anri Katsu as Savon.

They join a voice cast that includes: 

  • • Chikahiro Kobayashi as Legoshi
  • • Sayaka Senbongi as Haru
  • • Yuki Ono as Louis
  • • Koji Okino as Melon
  • • Shinichiro Miki as Yahya
  • • Shigeru Chiba as Gosha

  • • Genki Muro as Sunaga

Shinichi Matsumi is directing the second part of the final season, after working on the first two seasons, with Nanami Higuchi as scriptwriter, and Nao Otsu and Takumo Norita as character designers. Orange is handling the animation production. 

The manga series by Paru Itagaki was serialized in Akita Shoten’s Weekly Shonen Champion magazine from September 8, 2016 to October 8, 2020. A total of 22 tankobon volumes were released in Japan. VIZ Media publishes the manga for English release. 

The first season of Beastars premiered in Japan in October 2019 and had its global release in early 2020. A second season aired in Japan from January 2022 to March 2022, before being streamed globally by Netflix later that July. 

The two-part Final Season was later announced in September 2022, with the first part being released on December 5, 2024.

Netflix describes the main synopsis of Beastars Final Season Part 2 as: 

The facade of peace is shattered by Melon’s secret schemes. As distrust between herbivores and carnivores intensifies, Melon’s fangs draw close to Haru. Legoshi, having drifted to the Black Market, is once again forced to confront himself, while Louis struggles with new entanglements in the surface world. Reunited, they move on their respective paths toward the same goal: to face Melon. Legoshi believes in miracles, Haru looks toward the future, Louis defies destiny, and Melon despises the world. In a society shaken by desire and fear, what “answer” will they finally reach? The coming-of-age ensemble drama set in the animal world now reaches its conclusion.
