The Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) has cleared several of their star players to feature in the 2026 Pakistan Super League (PSL 11).
The BCB has issued No Objection Certificates (NOCs) with limited windows so they can also remain available for the upcoming tour of New Zealand.
According to reports, left-arm pacer Mustafizur Rahman has been allowed to skip the T20I leg of Bangladesh’s New Zealand tour in order to take part in PSL 11.
Bangladesh are scheduled to play three ODIs in New Zealand on April 17, 20, and 23, followed by T20Is on April 27, 29, and May 2. The team’s preparation camp for the series is set to begin on March 27.
Several other Bangladesh players contracted by PSL franchises, Parvez Hossain, Sharaf Islam, Nahid Rana, Tanzid Hasan, and Rishad Hossain, will also stay away from the national camp while fulfilling their PSL commitments.
The board has opted for partial NOCs to ensure key players are available for the ODI series, which carries added importance in the context of World Cup qualification.
Mustafizur’s clearance has been split into two periods: March 26 to April 12 and April 24 to May 3, effectively allowing him to miss the T20I series in New Zealand while still taking part in PSL 11.
Meanwhile, Tanzid Hasan, Sharaf Islam, Nahid Rana, and Rishad Hossain have been granted NOCs through April 12, while Parvez Hossain has been permitted to remain in the PSL until April 21.
