Congress leader Priyanka Gandhi Vadra met Union Road Transport and Highways Minister Nitin Gadkari at Parliament House to raise issues related to road infrastructure in Wayanad. The meeting took place during the ongoing Winter Session of Parliament.
Priyanka Gandhi sought time to meet Gadkari during Question Hour in the Lok Sabha. Responding immediately on the floor of the House, Gadkari asked her to visit him after Question Hour, saying his doors were always open.
Later, Priyanka Gandhi met the minister in his Parliament House chamber and discussed concerns related to roads in Wayanad. A video of Priyanka Gandhi related to the meeting was also included.
During the Winter Session, several Members of Parliament from different regions also met Nitin Gadkari in his Parliament House office to discuss ongoing development works in their respective constituencies.
