The Arc System Works-developed narrative game Dear me, I was…, which features watercolor-style visuals and rotoscoping, is now available on Steam, Nintendo Switch, iOS, and Android.
The game was previously released on Nintendo Switch 2 on July 31, 2025.
Dear me, I was… follows the life of one woman. The official website says that the story “shows the joy, sorrow, the growth, and the struggles in her ordinary life” and invites players to “Experience her tale, her life woven together with others.” Its Steam page says that the game has a brief playtime that’s less than an hour, and that it forgoes text and includes “simple interactive elements.”
Taisuke Kanasaki (Hotel Dusk: Room 215 director and character designer, Another Code: Recollection art director) served as the game’s art director. Maho Taguchi directed it, with Ryohei Endo producing.
