Anime NYC has announced a new partnership with X Tracks Licensing Summits to launch the “Anime NYC X Tracks Licensing Summit” on August 20, 2026 during the first day of Anime NYC. The convention will take place at the Jacob K. Javits Convention Center in New York City from August 20, 2026 to August 23, 2026.
Anime NYC’s press release describes “Anime NYC X Tracks Licensing Summit” as a new industry focused program that will bring together “top licensors, licensees, manufacturers, retailers, and entertainment executives” to “explore the rapidly expanding world of anime, manga, gaming, and Asian pop culture IP” in the global licensing landscape.
The one-day summit will include keynote sessions, panels, and networking opportunities for attendees. Programming will feature presentations specifically focused on licensing and brand extensions by several companies such as Viz Media, Kodansha, Crunchyroll, Striker Entertainment, Patencio Development, and Mad Engine among others, alongside exclusive networking sessions and VIP discussions.
X Tracks Licensing Summits is a global platform that connects the licensing industry through “curated education and networking events.” The platform describes itself as bringing together “key decision-makers from across entertainment, retail, and brand licensing.” In addition to Anime NYC, multiple Summits are being planned for 2026 across New York City, Los Angeles, and Bentonville.
