Air Link Communication Limited’s wholly owned subsidiary, Select Technologies Limited, has entered into a strategic partnership with global consumer electronics brand Hisense to manufacture and distribute home appliances in Pakistan, the company informed the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX) on Thursday.
Under the agreement, the collaboration will focus on the local production and nationwide distribution of products, including Smart TVs and air conditioners, combining Hisense’s global technology expertise with Air Link Group’s manufacturing and distribution network in Pakistan.
Hisense, which reported group revenues of $30.24 billion, has also expressed its intention to make a direct investment in the venture in the near future, signaling a long-term commitment to the Pakistani market, according to the filing.
The company said the alliance is expected to strengthen local manufacturing, improve product availability, and offer high-quality home appliances tailored to local consumer demand.
