Aina Asif’s Drama Maa Draws Backlash

Aina Asif is a popular young Pakistani actress who gained fame through back-to-back hits like Hum Tum, Mayi Ri, Baby Baji, Parwarish, and Judwaa. She is currently appearing in Green Entertainment’s drama series Maa, written by Yamna Ahmed and directed by Ali Farhan Aanchan. The series is presented by Babar Javed Productions. The story revolves around a mother who abandons her young daughter.

Today, Green Entertainment aired the first episode of Maa, in which the mother leaves her newborn at her brother’s house and departs. The scene then jumps twenty years ahead, marking the beginning of the main storyline.

Aina Asif’s fans and the drama viewers are criticizing the typical storyline of the show. Fans are of the view that Aina Asif’s choice of scripts is almost the similar.
