Tuesday will be warm and sunny across most of the state, with temperatures climbing above average before a late change begins to move in from the west.

Flood warning remains for inland rivers

The Bureau of Meteorology has also issued a Flood Warning for the Inland Rivers of South Australia.

Flooding along lower Cooper Creek near Innamincka is temporarily easing, though renewed rises are expected as upstream floodwaters from Queensland move downstream. Elevated river levels are also continuing along the Warburton River at Poothapootha Waterhole, with further rises expected in coming weeks.

Authorities warn that many roads and river crossings in affected areas remain impacted by floodwaters. Travellers are advised to check road conditions before travelling and to avoid entering floodwater.

The next flood warning update is expected by 2pm on Wednesday 11 March.
