South Australia’s biggest autumn race day is gearing up for another huge return, with the 2026 Sportsbet Adelaide Cup set to take over Morphettville on Monday, March 9, bringing racing, fashion, live music and family entertainment together for one of Mad March’s most anticipated events.

The public holiday favourite continues to draw racing fans, social groups and interstate visitors alike, offering everything from premium hospitality experiences and private suites to lively social lounges and relaxed outdoor settings across the course.

This year’s post-race concert headline act will be Australian indie-dance favourites The Jungle Giants, delivering a DJ set led by vocalist, guitarist and producer Sam Hales. The concert lineup also features Adelaide DJ JLC opening the stage before a performance from five-time ARIA award winner Shannon Noll, building momentum before The Jungle Giants take over.

Entertainment will run throughout the day, with DJ and saxophonist Matt Sammut kicking things off ahead of sets from DJ Phoebe in general admission. Around the venue, guests can expect a rolling schedule of performances including an acoustic guitarist, grand piano singer, violinists, stilt walkers, Brazilian dancers and a roaming marching band.

Across the course, different precincts will cater to every kind of raceday crowd. DJ Vyce Verso will bring the energy to Club Lago, later joined by Matt Sammut, while Dylan Manov and Opposites Attract featuring Kai & Ash perform inside the CC Giddy Up Club.

Fashion will again play a central role in the event, with Roving Fashions hosted by Eli Moulton returning after a strong debut during Morphettville’s 2025 Spring Carnival. The activation will spotlight outfits, trends and personal raceday rituals while celebrating an inclusive approach to style and self-expression.

For those seeking a premium experience, hospitality packages are already proving popular, with several options sold out. Remaining availability includes the First Class Lounge and Champions Balcony, while guests can also secure spots in Club Lago, the CC Giddy Up Club or opt for the more relaxed Trackside Picnic Tables.

Families are also firmly part of the day’s offering, with the Family Zone returning alongside a petting zoo and free entry for children under 17, ensuring the Adelaide Cup remains accessible for all ages.

With racing action, live music, fashion and entertainment layered across the course, the 2026 Sportsbet Adelaide Cup is shaping up as a full-day celebration of South Australian raceday culture and one of the standout moments of Mad March.
