The ABC has today unveiled fresh details and premiere plans for the return of Muster Dogs, confirming two new series will arrive in early 2026.
The three part Muster Dogs: Where Are They Now season 2 will revisit the popular season 3 cohort, checking in on the trainers and their dogs to see how life has changed since the competition ended.
Hosted by Lisa Millar, the series travels across Australia and offers a clearer picture of the real world impact of the show beyond the paddock.

Viewers will then be introduced to a new challenge in Muster Dogs season 4, with a major twist. This time it is not just the puppies being tested but the trainers.
Six participants with limited dog and stock handling experience will be tasked with raising and training a working dog to paddock ready standard within 12 months.
The franchise will continue to celebrate the bond between humans and dogs, with ABC promising heartfelt stories, unexpected hurdles and plenty of triumphs ahead.
Muster Dogs and Muster Dogs: Where Are They Now are Ambience Entertainment productions for the ABC, with production investment from Screen Queensland and Screen NSW and support from the ABC.
The series team includes directors Monica O’Brien and Sally Browning, producers Sally Browning, Michael Boughen and Monica O’Brien, executive producer Matthew Street, executive post producer Lauren Rudd and ABC’s Rachel Robinson, Jo Chichester and Susie Jones overseeing commissioning and delivery.
