Adelaide is back with some warm sunshine to finish the week and hotter conditions building as the weekend approaches.
Today, skies will stay sunny with temperatures climbing to around 30 degrees. Light to moderate winds will shift through the day, bringing a welcome afternoon sea breeze. While the chance of rain is low, UV levels remain extreme.
Tomorrow brings a slight cooldown and more variable conditions, with partly cloudy skies and a top of 26 degrees. There’s a medium chance of showers across the hills and southern suburbs, particularly earlier in the day, accompanied by stronger southerly winds. It will feel noticeably cooler compared to recent days, especially along the coast.
By Friday, the cloud is expected to clear as temperatures slowly climb back up to around 27 degrees. Any lingering showers should ease, with sunshine becoming more dominant later in the day. Fresh southeasterly winds will continue, keeping conditions comfortable despite the rising temperatures.
The weekend signals the return of true summer heat. Saturday is forecast to be sunny and warm, reaching around 31 degrees, while Sunday turns hotter again with mostly sunny skies and a top of 34 degrees. Overnight temperatures will also remain elevated, with warm nights across the end of the week.
Early next week continues the hot run, with Monday again expected to reach 34 degrees under mostly sunny skies. Tuesday offers some relief, with cloud clearing through the day and temperatures easing slightly to around 32 degrees.
Fire danger remains high in the Mount Lofty Ranges, and marine wind warnings are in place across multiple coastal zones, so anyone heading outdoors, boating or planning beach time is urged to stay across local conditions.
